David is a passionate energy active citizen with specialist knowledge and hands-on competence. David takes the technical detail from the energy world to non-technical people to show them how they can reduce their cost of living and how they can make their own electricity and water so that load shedding doesn’t affect them, and so that they can protect their environment and their income and become well prepared ahead of retirement.

About David

David Lipschitz is a scientist. He has a Computer Science Honours degree from UCT and Rhodes, as well as a Cranfield MBA. He has operated an Information Technology business since 1994 and a Energy Business since 2008. In February 2009, David trained with Solar Energy International in Phoenix, Arizona and passed the North American Board of Certified Energy Professionals PV Associate Exam.

Expert Advice

​ David is available for motivating people to change the way they think about energy and the environment. In 2013, David was made an honorary lifetime member of the South African Alternative Energy Association (SAAEA) for his services and commitment to Renewable Energy in South Africa. In 2015, David was made a fellow of the SAAEA.

Typically David is able to answer client's questions in a 2 to 4 hour time period. Specifics are dealt with in more detail when required.
